Why Eva Marie and WWE Parted Ways, Rusev Takes Humorous Shot at Eva?

As noted, Eva Marie announced yesterday that she is officially finished with WWE, and since the news broke there has been speculation as to why Marie left the company, and has not been seen on WWE TV since last year.

WWE producer Brian “Road Dogg” James had an exchange with a fan on Twitter, confirming that WWE did not want to release Eva Marie, and that the decision for the two sides to part ways was made entirely by Marie as she's now focusing on her acting career.

Speaking of Eva Marie, Rusev appeared to take a humorous shot at Eva Marie announcing her WWE departure yesterday, as The Bulgarian Brute Tweeted the following.

Hate to see legends retire !

It should also be noted that Mike Fisher from the Nashville Predators announced his retirement yesterday as well, and being a big Predators fan, Rusev might also have been referring to that.
