Charlotte Retains Title, Conquers Asuka's Undefeated Streak
Tonight at WrestleMania 34, in what was booked a Title vs. Streak match, Charlotte Flair conquered Asuka’s 914 days undefeated streak.

The women started the match by trading grapples and tie-ups looking for early control. Asuka switched gears to rely on striking kicks and managed to knock Flair off the apron with a running hip attack, causing the champion to hit the barricade.

After noticing that target landed on her left arm, Asuka began to target left arm and jumps on Flair’s back to and wear her down using her body weight but Flair counters with a backpack Stunner.

With Asuka down, Charlotte climbed the top rope to look for a moonsault but Asuka reversed into a submission. Flair panicked but managed to counter to a Boston Crab. Reverse for reverse as Asuka rolled through the submission and continued to target left arm by using ring rope to add more injury.

Asuka went for another hip attack but Flair dodged it. Flair began to set up for a suplex from the apron but Asuka countered with a suplex of her own off the apron and onto the floor.

Back in the ring, Asuka dropkicks Flair from the top rope. The women battled off an opposite turnbuckle from the top turnbuckle that saw Flair deliver a Spanish Fly.

Flair followed up with a Natural selection but Asuka countered with submission. Flair escapes by rolling through and takes Asuka down with a spear for a two count. Fighting through tears, Flair locks in Figure Eight through the pain that forces Asuka to tap out thus ending Asuka’s undefeated streak.

Post match, Asuka declared that Charlotte was ready for Asuka and the two embraced one another.
