Several media outlets have reported that they are back together and we exclusively reported a few weeks ago that there are already plans for a wedding later this year and the E! Network will be covering the costs.
We also reported that wrestlers in WWE are under the assumption that some, or all, of the break-up drama was a publicity stunt to drum up ratings for Total Bellas.
Smackdown Women’s Champion Carmella recently did an in-studio interview for The Kyle and Jackie O Show in Australia and things got awkward when the host speculated that the Bella/Cena stuff is fake for ratings.
“I’ve got to say, to John Cena and his wife or girlfriend or whatever, something suss is going on there. I said the other day I didn’t believe the breakup. I thought it was bulls**t.” KIIS FM radio host Kyle Sandilands said.
Carmella responded, “Oh, sure. I honestly have no idea. But if it’s on the Internet it’s got to be true, right?” The host said that he felt like Bella and Cena staged everything for the show. Carmella replied, “You never know. Honestly, I have no idea.”
For what it’s worth, Bella did a fan Q&A earlier this week and she said that Cena will be in China for the next few months shooting a movie and they are best friends but not back together.
