The match started with a confrontation between Liv Morgan and Brie Bella, obviously playing off Bella knocking out Morgan a couple of weeks ago on Raw. There were heavy boos for the Bella Twins.
Rousey won the match for her team by locking in the armbar submission on Ruby Riott. However, things took a dark turn as Rousey celebrated with Nikki and Brie. As they posed in the ring, Nikki nailed Rousey from behind and the twins stomped her in the corner. Rousey fought back but Nikki drove her into the post at ringside. The twins followed up by shoving Rousey into the steel steps and into the barricade.
This is the set up for Nikki Bella challenging Rousey for the Raw Women’s Champion at the Evolution pay-per-view.
