As noted, Becky Lynch won’t be able to compete at Survivor Series in a champion vs champion match that had arguably the best build on the entire card. But during the melee when SmackDown invaded Raw this week, Lynch suffered a broken nose and severe concussion thanks to a misplaced punch from Nia Jax.
According to The Observer, after learning of Lynch's injuries, Vince McMahon and Ronda Rousey both made the call on Tuesday to have the match at WrestleMania 35. Meltzer added that Becky Lynch and RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey is now the plan for WrestleMania 35 Main Event. If the plan doesn't change, it will be the first time a women's match has ever headlined "The Granddaddy Of Them All".
It was also noted that taking the SmackDown Women’s Title off of Becky Lynch will depend a lot of circumstances. But logic would dictate that if WWE’s direction for WrestleMania next year is Lynch vs Ronda Rousey, then someone will need to drop their title before then.
The most logical way to book Lynch vs Rousey for Mania would be to have one of them win the Royal Rumble match and then go on to challenge the one with a title. Therefore, it’s likely that we could be expected to see some kind of title change take place on the Women’s Roster before January.
