Charlotte Flair to Replace Becky Lynch Against Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series

Charlotte Flair
Earlier today, it was announced that Becky Lynch would be removed from her champion vs. champion match at Survivor Series against Ronda Rousey. Tonight, on SmackDown Live, Becky Lynch chose Charlotte Flair to replace her.

SmackDown General Manager Paige confirmed during tonight’s episode of the blue brand that Lynch would not fight at the upcoming pay-per-view, and would choose her replacement in the champion vs. champion match against Rousey.

Flair was among the women called up to the ring to be considered for the match, and in a move that the WWE Universe did not expect, was chosen by Lynch to be her replacement. Lynch acknowledged Flair’s abilities, and the pair shared a hug in-ring, signaling the possible end of their feud.

In an interview back stage, Flair proudly took on the responsibility of fighting for SmackDown, and for her friend by stating, “I will fight for Becky.”

Flair and Lynch have been feuding since Lynch’s unexpected heel turn at SummerSlam, where after a match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, Lynch lost and attacked Flair.

Though it seems the two have put aside their differences, for the moment, there’s no telling where WWE will send this story.
