Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair Taking Place at The Royal Rumble?

One of the big matches at the Royal Rumble will feature two of the top female stars in the company. And if WWE moves forward with their plans for Ronda Rousey at the Royal Rumble then you can pretty much figure out who Rousey will be facing at WrestleMania.

On Sunday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that the current plans are for Rousey to face Charlotte Flair at the Royal Rumble. That would mean that Flair vs. Rousey will not happen at WrestleMania and would make it more likely that the company will book Rousey vs. Becky Lynch at WrestleMania, at least according to how things have been playing out on TV in recent weeks.

“I’m pretty sure they’re gonna go with Ronda and Charlotte at Royal Rumble,” Meltzer said. “Based on everything I heard, that was the direction.”

It sure looks like things will start picking up next month as they begin the hype for the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania season kicks off.
