Lacey Evans interrupted a segment between Lynch and Natalya and declared (as per McMahon’s) that she would get a match with Natalya and the winner would become the new #1 contender.
The two women went back and forth and Evans held her own. The Sassy Southern Belle powered her way to the ropes in order to escape the Sharpshooter. In the end, Evans pinned Natalya with an awesome moonsault off the top rope.
Aside from the main story being told with Lynch and Evans, the other story told here is that Natalya has been screwed once again. It would not surprise me to see her turn heel at some point since there were plans for a heel turn last year. Those plans were scrapped when her father Jim Neidhard passed away.
Money In The Bank is the next WWE pay-per-view so I would assume that Lynch will defend her title on that show.
Money In The Bank will take place on Sunday, May 19 in Hartford, CT.
