Asuka & Kairi Sane Earn Women’s Tag Title Shot
As noted, last week on Smackdown Paige revealed that the tag match between Kairi Sane and Asuka against The IIconics had a stipulation that if the challengers won they would get a title shot.

That match happened last night at WWE live event in Tokyo, Japan, where The Kabuki Warriors defeated The IIconics, so next time their women’s tag team belts will be on the line.

In the end it was Kairi Sane’s incredible elbow drop that ended the night for the IIconics. Peyton Royce wasn’t able to kick out of it and now the SmackDown tag team will get a title shot at an upcoming event. It’s not yet announced when it will happen, but it would make sense to put it on WWE Extreme Rules.
