#1 Contender Match Scrapped on Smackdown Due to "Puppy Fever"

Last week, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose did a backstage segment to build a tag team match for this week's Smackdown against Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, where if they win, they will become a new #1 contender.

That match never happened, but WWE released an unseen backstage segment in which Billie Kay comes down with puppy fever and The IIconics can’t compete.

As seen below, after Peyton Royce explains that Billie Kay has come down with a case of puppy fever and must go, Paige, The Kabuki Warriors and Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville all take exception with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
