Kay Lee Ray Wins NXT UK Women’s Champion at TakeOver Cardiff

NXT UK has a new woman on top after their second TakeOver event. Kay Lee Ray has snatched the title away from former friend Toni Storm in their championship clash at TakeOver: Cardiff, becoming the third ever NXT UK Women’s Champion. Toni has held the title since TakeOver: Blackpool with a reign lasting 231 days.

After kicking out of the best the former champion had to offer, Kay Lee recovered from a devastating outside attack by Toni and hit her finisher for a quick win.

Triple H took the opportunity to share his now standard photo op with the new champion.
